I like this place. Chicken & beer is an all time combo. Service is good, food is good, price is reasonable. Would like if they had a cheaper option for beer though - they only have imports which are good but like $9 for a bottle of light beer.

Always busy! Even late night after midnight it is always busy! I love that about this place. Lots of groups come with their friend to get good food late in the night. We came with a party of 6 and waited 30 min. We ordered the load of food, got some soju, and beer. Items ordered were beef intestines, pork intestines, cheese corn, gyoza, half and half fried chicken, kimchi fried rice, and Ra-bokki! Everything was lit and super fire. Pork intestines were pretty chewy, however the beef wasn't as bad. Both had good flavor. The beef bulgogi came out sizzling and was delicious. Fried gyoza was pretty good too. The corn cheese was great and better than other restaurants that serve this in the area. My favorites were for sure the Ra-bokki and fried chicken! Their chicken is amazing! It's definitely shareable and comes with a heft portion of chicken. It's soft and juicy on the inside, but crispy and flavorful out the outside. I mean the inside was tasty too! The Ra-bokki is Raman covered with a teokbokki sauce and cheese! Sooo good! Lastly, the kimchi fried rice I got had a hair in it!!! But the manager fixed it quick by apologizing, making another one, taking that off our bill, and giving us a bottle of soju on the house. They are awesome. Great dim atmosphere and fast service.

I'd like the food but the music last night was really loud hard to hear anything my friend was saying. Also the Seafood pancake: the flour used doesn't bind the ingredients and everything just fall apart into small individual pieces like minced stir-fried (no one does "minced stirfry" btw, too small to eat with chopsticks). Would need to scoop up this "slice"of seafood pancake with a spoon. Your chef needs to pay attention to what kind of flour should be better than what you used which I suspect to be generic American all-purpose flour. You might as well stirfry everything and put it in a heap or pile, instead of a pie round shape The result would be the same

I recently tried their fried chicken for the first time through delivery. I went with half spicy and half original fried chicken, and it was pretty great! Both flavors were tasty- the original tasted like the classic flavor and I also like the spicy sauce. The texture was good with it being soft and moist inside but little crispy on the outside. They have a lot of menu options, which I would like to try different fried chicken next time! I'm looking forward to it.

I've been here a few times trying out their tofu soup and street food dishes and I've noticed that they probably have changed owners because the place used to be quite dim with the lighting, but now, it's pretty well lit which was surprising to me. I thought the tofu soup was quite reasonable if you come here late at night. Honestly hard to find food like that during those hours. The chicken wings were weirdly battered. I was expecting more of a crisp to them like all the other Korean fried chicken spots I've been to in the past. It still had a crunch, but it wasn't like flaky. The place has a couple sauces for the chicken that helps with a bit of the dryness. We had to ask for the bonchon because we noticed another table got it, but we did not. I don't know if they forgot to bring ours or if it only came with tofu soup, but yeah, we had to ask for it even though it's free. Place is usually very busy, so it can be hard to get a table right away. And the music is a bit too loud to hear anyone. If that's your vibe though, check it out. If not, it can be more tame at the place next door.

I've been to Dawa a few times, and it's quickly become a favorite spot for late-night Korean food. Their dishes are delicious and properly spicy, making it perfect for those late-night cravings. I really enjoy their pork bone hot pot with rice. It's a great comfort food option, especially when most restaurants close by 10pm. Dawa stays open super late (1:45am), and it's great that they offer a soupy menu item for those late-night meals. The booths are high, providing good privacy, but it can be a little hard to get the staff's attention. Just poke your head out, and they'll come right away!

Been here several times throughout the years. We came here on a Thursday evening and luckily there was no wait. We tried White Grape Makgeolli and it was delicious. Side dishes, corn cheese, and chicken wings were delicious as usual. Spacious environment. The vibe was more of a drinking place. The only downside was that the staff may not be super attentive as they usually got a lot of customers in and out.
